| | so i got offered a role in "moon shine" but i'm not taking it. but i was right about the choreagrapher loving me- thats what the director said. they want me to be a featured dancer with some speaking and maybe some singing parts, but when it comes down to it, it would be on my resume as "ensemble" AND its not paid. for not paid its got to be a better role- especially since it'd put a temporary end to improv. oh well. its nice to be cast in stuff anyhow. especially after my lousy audition this afternoon. | | comments: Leave a comment |
| tomorrows gig pays 150. I'm going to focus on that as I try not to DIE. its a little less painful with a bandaid rahter than gauze and tape, which i've done the last day even though they said just a bandaid is fine- still SUPER infected. clearing up slowly- i'm pretty worried.
sat- rose hills gig- one hour GOTTA wear the boots somehow cause its on a stage
sun- knotts 6 hour gig... i'm wearing uggs as long as i can get away with it- it should beok- the hoop skirt for "calico carolers" is to the floor...
mon- five crowns - 4 hours... i either have to wear the boots OR the shoes i ordered which may or may not be a little more comfy- but they'll get here some point monday... and i have to leave around 2:00 or 1:30 i'd reckon. maybe earlier... we sing at 5:30...i think call time is 30 min...but i have to double check. i'm thinking about 2-3 hours travel time. I think its the only time i have to drive all the way out there- when i'm in HB I'll have 5 gigs out there... that was a good week to get a hotel room. hooray for my mom. | | comments: Leave a comment |
| my first real gig finally came out- waiting for my dvd in the mail-we'll see if my scene made the final cut- but speaking of cuts, there is a cutout of me in the promo...im so amused. its almost all the way at the end- its just like 2 minutes, so be patient.

today is big moving day
tomorrow is "lets make sure all the shit i own is out of the hellhole" day...i'm a little worried. we'll see. and some kind of contract thingie has to be drawn up tomorrow as well with the deadbeat and her two little lemmings. i see coffee in my near future.
ok. mover madness. i gotta finish by 5 with the mover and the three trips including one to get our fridge in glendale.
